• Collaborate with the General Counsel to provide commercial leadership and guidance on business and legal affairs, addressing complex challenges such as intercompany agreements and guidelines.
• Work closely with various teams, including Headquarters Corporate Legal and Compliance, Finance, Tax, Rights Management, and Royalties Services, to offer legal, rights, and business affairs advice and support.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of processes and policies by collaborating with different departments.
• Provide regular reports and updates to the General Counsel on significant legal and business affairs matters in Germany and the EU.
• Act as BMG's representative in international legal working groups and industry committees/events within the Bertelsmann network, while maintaining and developing relationships with relevant third parties.
• Foster a culture of trust, empowerment, and constructive collaboration, and propose innovative approaches to support these values.

• You are a German Qualified Attorney and possess extensive experience as a corporate lawyer, either in-house or in private practice, with a broad range of expertise in intellectual property (preferably within the music industry).
• You are well-versed in critical areas such as corporate governance, asset acquisition, negotiations, rights management, and copyright.
• You possess excellent written and spoken English language skills.
