Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all relevant month-end closing activities in close collaboration with our Accounting Team
  • Ensure transparency on all financial parameters incl. highlighting potential impacts on budget and forecast
  • Follow up on project / business unit financials and act as a financial focal point for business unit and project leads
  • Implement and execute “close the gap“ activities if applicable
  • Maintain and optimize existing reporting within ICE
  • Develop and allocate financial budgets and business objectives in line with overall ICE targets
  • Run an ongoing and close interlock with the ICE Management Team, with our Shareholders and external partners (like auditors and our external accounting service provider)
  • Coordination and preparation of Budgeting and Forecasting deliverables
  • Prepare month end presentation to Management (Analysis, KPI’s, Forecast etc.)
  • Cash Management (Loans, Transactions, Payment approvals)
  • Prepare and maintain consolidated accounts and reporting (Group level)
  • Support of internal and external audits
  • Support payroll and HR processes
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Berlin based with hybrid working approach, willingness to occasional travel if necessary
  • Degree in business administration or equivalent education
  • 3-5 years of professional experience within an international environment either in an Accounting or Finance function
  • Strong Financial accounting and ideally Tax experience
  • Strong Team player and pro-active character with a degree of service orientation
  • SAP FI / CO
  • Excellent data gathering, reporting and analysis skills (advanced Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Quick comprehension combined with a very analytical and structured way of thinking
  • Open minded and willingness / ability to work in an international and very dynamic environment
  • Fluent English essential as well as excellent communication skills
